Although for most health hardcore fans it’s old news, the ‘latest’ new hype is drinking warm water and lemon in the morning – a very popular trend during our University years in the 90’s. It has, though, become a top healthy tip once again and rightfully so since its benefits are plenty. What probably most of you did not know, however, are all the other amazing uses of lemon that compliment our beauty and boost our skin.
Lemon is a real ‘beauty guard’ since it is rich in Vitamin C that enhances collagen, citric acid which balances our skin’s natural acidity and is suitable for all skin types even the most oily.
‘Lemons contain many substances–notably citric acid, calcium, magnesium, vitamin C, bioflavonoids, pectin, and limonene–that promote immunity and fight infection’, (beliefnet).
We have already emphasized the so many advantages of using lemon in our daily beauty regime in this article: ‘Lemon Beauty Secrets’ and we feel like we should share more of the latest news of this successful formula.
